I’ve got my husband, Mark—quick with a dad joke, always pushing my buttons, and somehow still the one who makes it all work. He’s the only person who could handle life with me as a photographer, running point most weekends so I can chase this dream. He keeps our family grounded, laughing, and exactly where we need to be. And then there’s our three wild and wonderful kids—Finnegan, Charlie, and Penny—who keep life full, loud, and never, ever boring.

Otis is our Sheepadoodle. A total cuddlebug with a mischievous streak and zero remorse. He’ll steal anything off your plate, even if you are watching. If he were human, he’d be a Maryland lax bro—charmingly handsome, completely aware of it, and just cocky enough to get away with it. He’s the fluffy chaos we never knew we needed.

There was no swim team when I was at Maryvale (’01), so getting to coach the Varsity team now feels like such a full-circle gift. I love sharing my passion for swimming and being a part of these girls’ lives, not just as their coach, but as someone cheering them on in and out of the pool.

They’re my three best friends, hands down. We all live within seven minutes of each other—not exactly our husbands’ dream setup, but definitely ours. Whether it’s pedi’s and sushi lunches, our summer days at Campus, or ——–, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. 

A neighborhood full of amazing families and a group of moms who are my kindred spirits. They’ve come from all corners of my life.. high school, college, and by the luck of buying a house in Springlake. I don’t know how we all ended up here, but I’m endlessly grateful we did.
