Baltimore Museum of Industry

Tucked into Baltimore’s historic Inner Harbor, the Baltimore Museum of Industry (BMI), once a 19th‑century oyster cannery, offers couples a truly iconic, waterfront wedding venue with industrial-chic charm and picturesque city views.

Finding the best Baltimore

Wedding Venue

The Baltimore Museum of Industry offers a rare blend of historic industrial backdrop, waterfront ceremony sites, museum artifacts, and flexible indoor/outdoor spaces that make any wedding visually compelling and unique to Baltimore. It’s a venue where history meets heartfelt celebration and photography opportunity.

  • Versatility meets atmosphere: From waterfront ceremonies to indoor gallery celebrations, every setting is distinct and photogenic. The Decker Gallery’s massive windows and museum artifacts offer dynamic backdrops and diffused natural light.

  • Flow that works: Ceremony—cocktail—reception transitions are seamless. Guests can wander into curated galleries while the party continues.

  • Weather flexibility: The Pavilion and indoor Decker Gallery both serve as reliable backup spots, minimizing disruptions due to rain.
